flies but memories stay behind!!!
Time...what
is it???
I
define time as memories.
Memories
have an enormous role in everyone’s life.
Amamma,
though you are not with us...I feel you inside my mind and I cherish all the
memories that I have with you.
She
has raised her four children and eight grand children. There’s a lot much one
can learn from her. We call her as the living encyclopedia..she has a keen
interest in everything..Be it cooking - she is the best cook I know till date..
Reading-she reads a lot..yeah..she once said she even used to read the
newspapers or magazine papers in which grocery were brought , Writing- give her
any crossword puzzle..she will finish it in no time, Music– she is an admirer
of music- she sings and listens..Maybe I got that instinct of music from her, Cricket-
she thoroughly follows every match of India, be it a test, one day or
20-20..she even calculates the runrate and she is no less than the cricket
analysts, Stock market-yeah..she knows that too..to add up to it..she even
advices my mama what and when to sell off. She is an expert planner; a pooja, a
festival ,a wedding ceremony, what not, she plans everything perfect and
precise. Yayy!! She is an all-rounder... she has her helm of perfection in
everything she does and she nudges us to be the same like her.
She wants her things to be
in place, if someone
else walks into her room and moves even a speck of dust, she will attack. She
has an eagle’s eye on everything .She believes that “Cleanliness is next to
god.”
She
is such an open minded person that she is neither orthodox nor superstitious
and even says my mom to accept things as they are and take life as it
comes..She is such a blessed soul and we rarely find people like her. I feel a
sense of serendipity for writing all these about her.
She
is partnered with everyone of our family.Being a single parent child, Amamma
has played a major part in my upbringing.. .She is one of the most influential
women in my life. She is an amazing woman and one of the people I aspire to be
when I grow up.
